Podiatric Physicians can earn some of their required continuing education contact hours (CECH) by attending the FPMA Science & Management Symposium (SAM) held in the Orlando, Florida area every year in January, or the FPMA Summer Conference held in Bonita Springs, Florida every June.

The Florida Podiatric Medical Association is approved by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education (CPME) as a provider of continuing education in podiatric medicine.

FPMA Policy on Privacy and Confidentiality: FPMA does not use any presentation styles containing live or video depictions of patients whose identities would need to be protected. The FPMA Convention Committee reviews conference PowerPoint presentations prior to conferences and one of the items that is verified is that there are no patient identifiers on any PowerPoint presentation slides. The policy for privacy of patient information is communicated by the moderator during each conference speaker introduction.
